Experience
I have achieved my Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State University - Monterey Bay, where I majored in Environmental Science. I also currently have completed courses toward my MPP from George Mason and am enrolled at the University of Rhode Island, looking to get an MA in Education. I have a lot of experience in the education industry, including two years of teaching experience, two years creating educational subject matter, and three years maintaining exhibits and guiding the tours at a museum. My foray into tutoring and helping students began when I worked as a TA during college and taught lab sessions. The subjects I like to tutor the most are Pre-Calculus and Biology. The reason for this is that both courses are challenging, and I like helping the students I tutor to understand them. My tutoring style is to make the students as comfortable as possible because I feel that they learn the best when in a comfortable situation. My biggest goal for tutoring is to present the material in a certain way that can help and reach students who learn in a variety of different ways. During my off time, I love to be outdoors and also have a great time working with animals.
